Chase DuBose is a Minnesota based artist, known for their autobiographical audio sculptures that tell the story of their life struggles with culture shock, being mixed race and overcoming her disabilities. Born in Iceland, then moving to Belgium and the United States; where they graduated from Bethel University with a B.A. in Art in 2020; DuBose is no stranger to different cultures and relates their upbringing of living amongst people of different cultures and identities as a driving factor for their work. They have created multiple large scale metal sculptures for group shows and was commissioned to make a piece for St. Matthew Episcopal Church.
